Spiritual Science is in the merging of ancient wisdom with modern science. We are moving from the age of information to the age of vibration.
Information and intellectual perspectives have long dominated modern life and modern science. The intellectual prowess of some great thinkers has taken us far in our understanding our world and ourselves.
And yet, it is now clear that there are limitations to what our great minds can achieve based upon the problems we are dealing with today.
To quote Einstein: The problems we are experiencing today cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that created the problems.
And so we are left with the options of thinking harder or thinking outside the box. This is where the heart of spiritual science is starting to emerge as a factor in the healing and advancement of the planet.
There is a new harmony occurring between mind, spirit, science and technology.
A New Harmony
We need more balance in our lives. We have become too one-dimensional too predictable, living too much in our heads.
The mind is a great tool and yet for too long it has taken the leading role in our lives and culture. Now is the time for the heart to emerge into its proper role as the pacemaker or peacemaker, as the case may be.
The heart has its own brain which is now being recognized in the field of neurocardiology, the study of the heart-brain and how the heart and brain communicate with each other.
The field of heart rate variability is also at the forefront of the discovery of the powerful intelligence of the heart and its ability to harmonize or synchronize the entire organism.
The time for the heart and brain to communicate is NOW. This is the way forward. This is the key to the balance that we so urgently need today!
During the last twenty years more and more literature has emerged concerning the complementary relationship between the sciences and ancient wisdom (or the Intuitive Arts).
One key to being guided along the evolutionary path is to be willing to educate ourselves about cultures and practices different from our own.
And we need to appreciate the value of wisdom and knowledge gained through a variety of different practices.
Connecting Heart and Mind
The heart of Spiritual Science has been greatly expanded by the Institute of HeartMath the past 20 years. They have pioneered mind-blowing research into the science of the heart.
They developed the emWave2 biofeedback product which is now being used by tens of thousands of individuals and health professionals to bring balance to their hearts and minds.
This balance is what is greatly needed in the world today and it cannot be done solely with the mind, no matter how great the intellect.
Heart Coherence
Heart Coherence is a term scientists use to describe a state of balance and harmony between the heart, mind and spirit. This is measurable through the science of Heart Rate Variability.
The heart rhythms become harmonic and smooth. The working of the body, mind and heart becomes harmonic and smooth. This is what it means to be in the Zone. No matter what you are doing or how you are feeling, coherence practices will center you and connect your heart with your brain.
This is spiritual science at the personal level.
Heart Rate Variability training is now being delivered to people and institutions all over the world. From individuals to corporations, this is being recognized as a way to bring more creativity and balance into the personal realm and into institutions.
And the wonderful thing about this is that as we each practice personal coherence this leads to a broader phenomenon called global coherence.
Global Coherence Initiative
The Global Coherence Initiative is what is happening as more and more individuals practice personal coherence.
The impact upon the global community is a positive and harmonious one. There are now sensitive magnetic field detectors in place around the world which are monitoring changes in earth’s Geo-magnetic fields and also changes in the ionosphere.
One of the goals of this project is: Examine the degree to which there is an energetic resonance between the earth’s magnetic field and the rhythms of human heart and brain activity.
The stated Mission of the GCI is:
The Global Coherence Initiative is a science-based, co-creative project to unite people in heart-focused care and intention, to facilitate the shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace.
What we do really does matter and we are using science now to connect with intuitive wisdom that bodes well for the survival of the planet and all of us.
Spiritual Science of Healing
Doctors, scientists, and healers of all types are discovering how nutrition, exercise, herbs and lifestyle affect healing.
We are moving away from a medicine of treating the symptoms to a medicine of prevention and holistic treatment and healing.

Mysticism and Science
Puran Bair is an American Mystic from the Sufi tradition who co-founded the Institute for Applied Meditation, and also the University of the Heart.
His teacher was from the lineage of Hazrat Inayat Khan, a great Sufi and Sage from India who came to the west in 1910 to harmonize east with west
The east has an ancient tradition of diverse wisdom and spiritual practices and the west had a great knowledge of science of technology.
The spiritual science practices that have emerged over the past 100 years are exactly what we need for this time.
