If you have anxiety and meditation is something you’ve considered trying, you’ve come to the right place.
You CAN find the calm center and reclaim your life. Meditation is one of the best ways to control anxiety. You can learn to control it on the spot when it happens and with regular practice you will reduce all episodes of anxiety.
Do you suffer from anxiety? Many people do. Some have it worse than others. Anxiety can be complicated by excessive alcohol or drug consumption. Or it can just be worse for some because of other life issues or health problems.
We seek to have control over our lives, but what happens when that control begins to slip away? We feel as if there is nothing we can do, and we spiral downward into that cold, uncaring vortex full of negative emotions and darkness. This is what anxiety does to a person, and when it comes to anxiety, there are a number of different things that can happen.
Anxiety disorder can cause many different conditions, including heart disease. Stress is one of the hardest things on the heart. Blood pressure rises and blood vessels constrict, making the heart work harder.
There are many people who suffer from this, but there is a way to take your life back.
Meditation vs Medication
But how do you fix the problem? How do you take your life back? How can you use anxiety and meditation to your advantage?
There are many physicians who will recommend medication, and in some cases it works. But in other cases it is perfectly useless. Medications have side effects and often can be worse than the original symptoms.
What happens when everything else fails? An alternative is meditation. You may have anxiety and meditation is going to lead you out of it.
Specifically I recommend practices that are heart centered. Your heart is a central operating system that controls all aspects of your health.
You need to be ready and willing to accept alternative methods of healing. The universe has equipped us with everything we need to heal ourselves; the only question is whether or not you have the desire and tools to bring those things out. Since you are reading this page I assume you have willingness to learn another way of dealing with anxiety.
Tools for Transforming Stress
The heart has a different perspective on life than the mind. The heart operates at an intuitive feeling level. Your heart can be completely trusted.
Practices that focus on heart coherence are what I recommend to start the process of relaxing, meditating and actually healing your heart.
As you begin to heal the wounds of your heart (and we all have these wounds) you will feel differently. You will feel a deep sense of relaxation and have confidence that you can go to this place anytime you want.
Here are three heart-centered tools and practices you can consider for yourself:
